Job Description
Role & Responsibility
- Inspect, repair and maintain facility structures and equipment as directed by Maintenance Supervisor and as assigned through a scheduled preventive maintenance work order.
- Responds to emergency maintenance requests and machinery troubleshooting as required.
- Performs minor electrical, mechanical and a variety of structures repairs and maintenance.
- Determine proper work method and materials for each maintenance, operates various power tools and small equipment in the performance of assigned duties.
- Ensure machine and equipment are maintained in good and safe working condition.
- Follow work instructions and safe operating procedures strictly when executing job order.
- Wear appropriate safety protection at all times and ensure compliance with Health & Safety policy and procedures.
- Safely handle and dispose waste according to waste management procedure.
- Identify and report unsafe maintenance job to Maintenance Supervisor.
- Maintain one’s own work area clean, safe and organized.
- Undertake training as required and attendance at production meetings as directed.
- Flexible to transfer to any other duties considered necessary to meet the needs of the business.
- Understand and follow company QMS, EMS, Sustainability and Health & Safety policy.
- Understand and follow company ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 processes and practices.
Qualification And Education Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM.
- Required language (s): Bahasa Malaysia.
- Technical skill is a plus.
- Good organizational skills and able to work under tight schedule.
